XARXA ALCOVER AWARD 2024
Xarxa Alcover Award of the Igualada Show 2024 "DINS EL CAU DEL TABALET"
The Xarxa Alcover Award is a prize given to Catalan-language theater performances. The Xarxa Alcover association drives this award, which consists of a tour of Catalan-speaking regions.
Xarxa Alcover objectives:
-Promote Catalan-language theater
-Improve mobility between Catalan theater spaces
-Create forums for reflection on Catalan performing arts
Just as we did with Tripula – but in a much smaller format – we explore what happens when there is no boundary between the space of action and the space of perception. We have created a stage space that is both content and container, performance space and spectator space, stage and audience, burrow and… shadow projection screen.
A burrow, a house, a theater, a place as fragile as paper, but one that we want to protect us from the noise of the outside world.
